Amongst his notable works, are the cargo operation and setting up of an evacuation company. He executed and monitored the entire cargo operations between Singapore to Jakarta as well as Singapore to Balikpapan and to other parts of Indonesia. This gave him a great opportunity to work with many major cargo companies like DHL, FedEx, TNT, and Nippon Express just to name a few. \u00a0Working on-time performance and chartering flights from Singapore to Batam in 2002, causing an expansion of the active fleet from 2 flights per day to 6 flights per day. This added to the knowledge on the capabilities and performances of Casa 212, Let 410, Antonov 2, 32, 12, B737 and various other aircraft<\/p>\n
In 2006, Mr. Shikkander was given the opportunity to be a manager in a freshly set up Executive Jets Company mainly Operating Learjet 35, Learjet 45 and Citation 7. \u00a0That spiraled him towards starting his own company. \u00a0By 2013, he started up a Medical Evacuation company for an Indonesian Jets Company with Hawker 400 and 800xp and was seated as an Executive Operations Director.<\/p>\n
With the synergized energy and zeal Mr. Shikkander started his own independent organization in 2016. EDS Aviation Pte. Ltd. dealing mainly with medical evacuation where his heart calls for. Being passionate about rendering first hands help to patients needing urgent and immediate transfers to a safe destination became his priority. \u00a0Besides this, his company also caters to special VIP guests in need of private and luxury transfers to a wide variety of exclusive destinations.<\/p>\n
